For candidates, it could be our Corporate Kool-Aid check offering where they get an assessment of a company’s culture, even if that company is one they are considering outside of their relationship with Roose Recruiting & Consulting.
For clients, it’s the fact that we scorecard every single candidate we talk to because we realize there are certain intangibles in every sales & recruiting candidate that often are what make the difference between your next President's Club winner versus a middle-tier producer, versus that person you wished you'd never hired.
In any circumstance, it’s offering wisdom that might be available to us, that might not be available to anyone else, even in situations where there is no financial gain for doing so.
BE AUTHENTIC
Sometimes this is hard as sometimes no one else has delivered the hard truths that need to be heard. Like what? Like, your resume format is what’s preventing you from getting interviews. Or, your salary is so far below market that the caliber of candidate you want will have no interest in working for you. It’s not as bad as calling someone’s baby ugly, but it’s not enjoyable either. But, when it’s needed, we’re committed to doing it.
BE AVAILABLE
This doesn’t mean Roose Recruiting & Consulting is “always on.” We take time off. We spend time with family. What it does mean is we’re available to help. Even in situations where we know it will likely never help us back.
Also, it means that we’re available to provide industry expertise around sales and recruiting professionals. Most companies that place sales/recruiting folks do it as a small part of a larger offering (such as HR). Sales and recruiting in Dallas/Fort Worth is all we do! So we can give you insight specific to these roles specific to this market!
